The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Khodawanpur P.S. Case No. 210 of 2019 dated 03.10.2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 354(B), 379, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.86707 of 2019(3) dt.22-06-2020 2/3 The petitioners are alleged to have assaulted the informant and also tried to outrage her modesty. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they are related to the informant and have falsely been implicated in this case because of land dispute. It has also been argued that the present case is a counter blast to Khodawanpur P.S. Case No. 209/2019, which has been lodged by the brother of the petitioner no. 1 and uncle of petitioner no. 2 against the informant and others for various offences. A complaint case also is pending between the parties.

The injury report of the informant is opined to be simple in nature.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioners, above named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional
