Learned counsels are in agreement that the two orders issued by the Director of the Cabinet Secretariat Department (Urdu Directorate) dated 03.02.2020 and 06.02.2020 takes care of the petitioner's claim for arrears for the period 19.01.1998 to 17.09.2001.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, however, raises an

Patna High Court CWJC No.1474 of 2020(2) dt.18-02-2020 2/2 apprehension that the Authorities have taken a long time in issuing the orders in respect of payment and, therefore, it is unlikely that they would make payment under the said orders expeditiously.

The orders, acknowledging the petitioner's claim, are recent, therefore, this Court would only direct that the payment, pursuant to the said two orders, should be made expeditiously preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, as per law. The payment should also be accompanied by details of calculation showing the amounts arrived at. Writ petition stands disposed of.
