2. With the consent of both the parties, this writ application is being disposed of at the present stage itself.

3. The petitioner in the present writ application has

2/4 prayed for the grant of following reliefs:- "That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ in nature of mandamus and directing the respondents to consider and grant promotion to the petitioner from the post of Headmaster from the date he has fulfilled the eligibility criteria as per Rule -5 (3) of Bihar Panchayat Elementary School Services (Appointment, Promotion transfer disciplinary proceeding and service condition) Rule 2020."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for claiming the aforesaid relief, the petitioner had filed a representation before the Block Teacher Employment/Appointment Committee Chanpatia District- West Champaran Bettiah (Respondent No. 7) dated 01.04.2025 (Annexure-10 series) and the same continues to be pending. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if an appropriate direction could be issued to the Block Teacher Employment/Appointment Committee Chanpatia District- West Champaran Bettiah (Respondent No.

7) to dispose of his representation on merit within a fixed time

3/4 frame after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

5. To this prayer being made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel for the Respondent-State does not have any objection.

Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of directing the Block Teacher Employment/Appointment Committee Chanpatia District- West Champaran Bettiah (Respondent No. 7) to dispose of the pending representation of the petitioner dated 01.04.2025 (Annexure-10 series) within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Needless to emphasize that the final order which shall be passed by the Block Teacher Employment/Appointment Committee Chanpatia District- West Champaran Bettiah (Respondent No. 7) should be a reasoned and speaking order. It is further made clear that in case the petitioner is found entilted to the relief which the petitioner has claimed through the representation then the same should be extended to the petitioner within three months from the date of passing of the final order by the authority concerned.

7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the
