ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 26-02-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner seeks a mandamus from this Court for making an inquiry regarding the existence of real Bindu Kumari who she claims to be herself. He submits that three persons by the name of Bindu Kumari had surfaced and a vigilance inquiry is being conducted with regard to the same. It is further submitted that forgery has been committed by other two persons

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.148 of 2020(2) dt.26-02-2020 2/2 and therefore, the petitioner is required to establish the real Bindu Kumari.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State, however, submits that the matter is being investigated by the Vigilance itself and therefore, no further inquiry is required. However, in the interest of justice, the writ application is disposed of with a direction that the vigilance inquiry, which is being conducted by the Vigilance Investigation Bureau, Bihar, Patna, be expedited so as to be concluded positively within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

It is made clear that during the course of investigation, the Vigilance should take proper steps to hear all three Bindu Kumaris, if the fourth has not surfaced already. (Anjana Mishra, J) PNM U T
