Petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Case No. 1276 of 2019 for the offence under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 23.10.2019.

In the instant case total 225 liters of foreign liquor as well as country made liquor was seized.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is driver and not owner of the vehicle or the liquor seized in the instant case.
