This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Special Case No. 104 of 2019 arising out of Nadi P.S. Case No. 219 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8/20/22/25/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act and Indian Penal Code.

More than commercial quantity of pychotropic substance (ganza) was allegedly recovered from the petitioner's possession. In view of the bar under Section 37 of the N.D.P.S. Act, I do not consider it to be a fit case for petitioner's release on bail.

This application is accordingly dismissed.

It goes without saying that considering the penal provision under Section 37 of the Act, the Court expects the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1187 of 2020(6) dt.08-02-2021 2/2 Court below to take all possible steps for expeditious conclusion of the trial.
