The vehicle of the petitioner, namely, Splendor motor-cycle, which was purchased by him, is not being registered by the Transport Department notwithstanding the petitioner having paid the requisite fee for such registration. The petitioner has not also been informed about the reason for non-registration of the vehicle. The petitioner shall produce a copy of this order before the District Transport Officer, Motihari (Respondent

Patna High Court CWJC No.1792 of 2020 dt.20-02-2020 2/2 No. 2), who on receipt / production of such order, shall verify the facts and ascertain the reason why the vehicle of the petitioner has not been registered up till now. If there is no reason whatsoever for not granting registration certificate to the petitioner, necessary directions be issued for registering the vehicle. If for any reason, vehicle has not been or cannot be registered, the same must be made known to the petitioner forthwith.

With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
