JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 02-07-2026 Petitioner is mainly aggrieved by the inaction of the authorities in connection with his applications to the Principal Secretary, Department of Revenue and Land Reform, Government of Bihar and to the District Magistrate, Bhagalpur, which have been given for measurement of land and demarcation of boundary. Apparently, the petitioner has filed a criminal writ petition under mistaken belief.

2. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to convert the present criminal writ petition into civil writ petition to agitate his grievance.

3. Permission, as prayed for, is accorded.

4. Accordingly, learned counsel for the petitioner is

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.189 of 2026(2) dt.02-07-2026 2/2 directed to convert the present criminal writ petition into a civil writ petition within two weeks.
