The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Belhar P.S. Case No.199 of 2025 registered for the offence under section 96 of the B.N.S., 2023 and under section 8 of the POCSO Act.

The petitioner is alleged to have kidnapped the daughter of the informant with an intention to marry her. 4.

The petitioner is in custody since 16.09.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.91118 of 2025(4) dt.25-03-2026 2/2 this case. He further submits that the victim girl in her statement has not supported the prosecution case.

Learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail by submitting that the trial has already started. 7.

From the statement of the victim girl, it appears that she had eloped with the with petitioner. 8.

Considering the statement of the victim girl and also the period of custody of the petitioner, this bail application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, 6th -cum- Special Judge, POCSO, Banka / concerned Court below, in connection with Belhar P.S. Case No.199 of 2025.
