JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 23-01-2020 In substance, the petitioner has a grievance against selection of respondent no. 5 as Anganbari Sevika for Anganbari Centre No. 197 in Ward No. 4 of village Mashrakh Takhta under Gram Panchayat Raj Mashrakh in the district of Saran.

2. It is the petitioner's claim that she was placed at serial no. 2 in the merit-list and on a flimsy ground that she does not belong to the ward in question, she has been denied appointment and respondent no. 5 has been appointed ignoring the petitioner's rightful claim.

3. Be that as it may, the petitioner has a remedy of

Patna High Court CWJC No.25764 of 2019(2) dt.23-01-2020 2/2 making representation before the Child Development Project Officer under the Guidelines issued by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Bihar which governs selection of Anganbari Sevika.

4. This application is disposed of with an observation that if the petitioner approaches the Child Development Project Officer raising her grievance within 30 days from today, the petitioner's application shall not be rejected on the ground of the same being time barred, considering the fact that the petitioner was pursuing her remedy before this Court by filing the present writ application.
