The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a) and 41(1)(2) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2018.

From the Bathan of the petitioner, huge quantity of liquor was recovered. Petitioner has got identical criminal antecedent. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with Motipur P.S.Case No.357 of 2019 pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, Excise, Muzaffarpur.
