The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Maker P.S. Case No. 182 of 2019, registered for offence punishable under Sections 188, 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) and 37(b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case merely on the suspicion. Further submission is that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he has no concern with the illicit liquor. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 14.11.2019.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1284 of 2020(2) dt.23-01-2020 2/2 and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the above-named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Saran at Chapra in connection with Maker P.S.
