2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No. 202 of 2014 for the alleged offences under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. In the earlier attempt, the petitioner's anticipatory bail application was dismissed by this Court on 24.10.2019 in Cr. Misc. No. 63790 of 2019 (Annexure-1) on the ground that there was inordinate delay on the part of the petitioner in approaching this Court in the year 2019 for an offence relatable to the year 2014 and that there was no immediate apprehension of arrest.

4. A statement has been made in paragraph no.10 of the petition that a warrant of arrest had been issued against the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.235 of 2020(2) dt.24-11-2021 2/2 petitioner on 11.07.2019 which was prior to the earlier order dated 24.10.2019 as stated above. No subsequent fact has been brought on record to disclose any apprehension of arrest.

5. Considering that the First Information Report was lodged as far back as in the year 2014, there appears to be little reason for taking a different view in the matter of grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed.
