Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272,273,414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act,2016.

Petitioner is driver of the three wheeler from which more than 100 liters of Nepali liquor was recovered. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. Considering the nature of allegation and quantum of punishment prescribed for the alleged offence, in my view, the petitioner should be released on bail only after framing of the charges on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the
