2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Laheri P.S. Case No. 266 of 2017, registered for offence punishable under Sections 406, 420, 341, 323, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per F.I.R., informant alleged that he was induced by this petitioner to book a luxury bungalow, for which, informant paid altogether Rs. 4,70,000/-, but despite receiving money, the accused neither commenced construction work nor handed over possession of bungalow and when informant demanded his money, the company gave a cheque of Rs.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.91955 of 2025(5) dt.13-07-2026 2/2 4,70,000/- bearing the signature of petitioner, which got dishonoured due to insufficiency of funds. Thereafter, complainant again approached the company, whereupon Rs. 50,000/- was refunded, but rest amount i.e. Rs. 4,20,000/- was remained to be paid and thereafter, this complaint was lodged. From perusal of paragraph - 3 of the bail petition, it appears that petitioner has got four criminal antecedent of similar nature.

4. Considering the nature of accusation and criminal antecedent, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
