1. Though the present petition has been filed for restoration of a first appeal bearing First Appeal No.585 of 2000, which has stood dismissed on 08.05.2002, on account of non-compliance of the peremptory order dated 24.04.2002, however, considering the fact that the present restoration petition has been filed after a huge delay of about 17 years, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available
