2. The petitioner has approached this Court against her non-selection for the post of Anganbari Sevika of Anganbari Centre No. 268 of Rajapakar Gram Panchayat, in the District of Muzaffarpur.

3. The petitioner was a ward member of ward No. 12, which is an admitted fact. A ward member is not eligible to be considered for selection as Anganbari Sevika, this is also not in dispute. The applications were invited for selection in question and the petitioner is said to have applied on 04.12.2018. It is,

Patna High Court CWJC No.117 of 2020(2) dt.24-01-2020 2/2 however, the petitioner's case that she had submitted her resignation to the Mukhiya of the Gram Panchyat on 18.05.2019. The merit list was published on 23.01.2019.

4. It is thus, evident from the own showing of the petitioner that she was ineligible to apply for the post, she being a ward member.

5. This application, in Court's opinion, has no merit and is, accordingly, dismissed.
