28-05-2020 Heard Sri Krishna Prasad Singh, learned senior counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State through video conferencing.

This relates to grant of bail in Special Case No. 22/2017/CIS No. 23/2017, arising out of Dagarwa P.S. Case No. 203/2017, registered for the offence under Sections 8/20(b)(ii) (c)/25/29 of N.D.P.S. Act.

From perusal of F.I.R., it is apparent that 726.800 Kg. of Ganja was recovered from a truck, which was being escorted by petitioner and others.

On earlier occasion also, the prayer for bail of petitioner was rejected by this Court and thereafter, by the Hon'ble Supreme Court also, vide order dated 01-07-2019

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2227 of 2020(4) dt.28-05-2020 2/2 passed in Special Leave to Appeal (Crl.) No. 4469/2019 (Annexure 1 series).

Considering the nature of accusation as well as the fact that bail application of petitioner has been rejected by the Hon'ble Apex Court, I am not inclined to grant bail. However, since petitioner is in custody since 12-12-2017, the learned court below is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible. The bail application stands disposed of.
