This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Maharajganj P.S.case No.299 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 386 & 387 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is of demand of extortion from the informant through Mobile No.9934994206 and the petitioner is named in the FIR and during the investigation it transpired that he had called on mobile number of the informant at that time.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the informant had purchased fertilizer from the petitioner and for that he had rang twice to the informant but he has falsely been implicated in this case.

Heard learned A.P.P. , who has opposed the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85971 of 2019(3) dt.28-02-2020 2/2 for bail on the ground that apart from the above allegation, he is accused in two more cases..

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, at this stage I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner .

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
