Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Recovery of liquor is alleged from the abandoned house of some other person. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Petitioner was not apprehended at the time of recovery of liquor.

Considering the fact that there is no substantial material against the petitioner as well as the fact that there is no material to substantiate that the petitioner is going to tamper with the evidence or abscond the process of law, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.86058 of 2019(2) dt.14-01-2020 2/2 bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Karakat Police Station Case No.247 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below as well as petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the Court and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
