The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner got the land of plot no.1508, khata no.190 measuring 2 katha through a registered deed of gift executed on 01.02.1996 situated in village Sona Gopalpur, Anchal-Sampatchak, Patna. The petitioner filed petition before the Circle Officer to get her

Patna High Court CWJC No.918 of 2020(2) dt.16-01-2020 2/2 land measured but the Circle Officer has not taken any step for getting the land measured.

Mr. Khurshid Alam, learned AAG 12 submits that the Circle Officer is obliged under the law, after having received petition for getting the land measured and on deposit of cost for such measurement, to get the land measured.

Having considered the submissions of both sides, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Circle Officer, Sampatchak, Patna that if the petitioner filed such petition to get her land measured on the basis of registered gift deed after depositing required fees, the Circle Officer shall take steps and get the land of the petitioner measured within three months from today.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
