The learned counsel for the contemnors submits that in compliance of the order of this Court dated 20.08.2019, passed in CWJC No. 16459 of 2019, the encroachment has been removed, inasmuch as the respondent no.9 has vacated the encroached land himself on 05.09.2023, in compliance to the order dated 02.09.2023, passed by the Circle Officer, Lakhnaur,

Patna High Court MJC No.5297 of 2019(3) dt.06-10-2023 2/2 under Section 6(1) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956.

At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case of any subsisting grievance, the petitioner be granted liberty to take recourse to such remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty so sought is granted.

Accordingly, the contempt petition stands disposed off.
