2. The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent to pay the remuneration of the petitioner from the date of his punishment, i.e. since 15.12.2005 till date for having worked as Safai Mazdoor for the Jail Hazat of Bhagalpur Civil Court, Bhagalpur.

Learned for the petitioner submits that this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 20.02.2020, directed the Collector, Bhagalpur to ensure payment to the petitioner of his dues and admissible amount positively by 25th February 2020 and file an affidavit showing the calculation of dues and payment made to

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that in compliance with the said order counter affidavit has been filed and in the said counter affidavit, an order dated 13.03.2020 has been annexed in which the petitioner was found entitled to Rs.65,439/-.

Learned counsel for the State submits that a specific statement has been made in paragraph 20 of the counter affidavit dated 16.03.2020 filed on behalf of respondent No.2, the District Magistrate, Bhagalpur to the effect that a cheque bearing No.676902 dated 14.03.2020 amounting to Rs.65,439/- has been issued in favour of the petitioner and the petitioner was informed to receive the same, but the petitioner did not receive the same.

6. In this view of the matter, the present writ petition stands disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner that if he has any grievance with the said order, he may challenge the same. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Ashwini/- U
