JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 19-03-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498A, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Petitioner happens to be husband of the informant and there appears to be some sort of allegation of torture against the petitioner but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that the informant is a widow lady and even if, the prosecution story assumed to be true, then also, the written report of informant reflects that the petitioner left his home and went outside in connection with his livelihood. He further submits that petitioner is languishing in jail custody since long.

Case No. 41 of 2018.
