The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Chakia P.S. Case No. 171 of 2019 for the offence registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 of the Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that certain illicit liquor was seized from a Magic vehicle bearing Registration No. J.B. 11N-2379 which was being driven by one Sudhir Harra. It is further submitted that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period

No.86380 of 2019(2) dt.21-01-2020 2/2 of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of A.D.J. - IInd, Jumai in connection with Chakai P.S. Case No. 171 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
