JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 03-03-2020 After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to file objection under Section 9 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914 before the District Certificate Officer, Arwal in connection with Certificate Case No. 4 of 2019-20.
Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of as not pressed, however, with liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate objection under Section 9 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914, whereupon the District Certificate Officer, Arwal
Patna High Court CWJC No.2725 of 2020(3) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 shall consider the objection of the petitioner and pass final orders under Section 10 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914.
It is needless to state that in case, no objection is filed under Section 9 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914 within a period of four weeks from today, the District Certificate Officer, Arwal shall be free to pass final orders ex parte.
Till passing of the final order by the District Certificate Officer, Arwal, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.
