JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 02-03-2023 Heard learned counsel for the parties concerned. In pursuant to the order dated 21.02.2023, learned counsel appearing for the UCO Bank produced a Demand Draft of a sum of Rs. 38,323/- (Rupees Thirty Eighty Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Three Only) in the name of the petitioner Manju Chaudhary, bearing DD No. 013798 dated 24.02.2023 towards the final settlement of arrears of family pension payable to the mother-in-law of the petitioner.

Patna High Court CWJC No.485 of 2020(8) dt.02-03-2023 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed, accordingly, the aforesaid bank draft amounting to Rs. 38,323/- is being handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner for handing it over to the petitioner.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not in a position to move and she is bedridden. Accordingly, he may be permitted to hand over the aforesaid bank draft to the husband of the petitioner, namely, Niranjan Prasad Pandey.

In view of the aforesaid submission, learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to hand over the Demand Draft issued in the name of the petitioner to her husband, namely, Niranjan Prasad Pandey. Acknowledge receipt shall be filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner within a period of five weeks.

With aforesaid observation and direction, this writ application is disposed.
