In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Pachrukhi (Sarai) P.S. Case No.294 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The police has recovered about 43 liters of foreign liquor, however, counsel for the petitioner submits that no recovery has been made from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he has got no criminal antecedent. Looking to the quantity of liquor recovered, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
