Petitioner is accused in connection with Bettiah (Town) P.S. Case No. 596 of 2019 registered under Sections 366A, 504, 506, 34 of the I.P.C.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The victim, in her statement recorded under section 164 Cr. P.C., specifically stated that when she was scolded by her mother, she left her house and went to the house of her aunt. She did not speak a single word against the petitioner. It is also submitted that petitioner is in custody since 13.08.2019. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the
