The only grievance of the petitioner in the present case is that despite the petitioner having filed an application on 15.11.2017 for grant of arms license before the learned District Magistrate, Nalanda, no final decision has been taken till date

Patna High Court CWJC No.1135 of 2020(2) dt.24-06-2022 2/2 though the Superintendent of Police, Nalanda has already made recommendations with regard to the threat perception of the petitioner.

The learned counsel appearing for the State, Sri Sanjay Paramani (AC to GP-4), submits that in case, no final decision has been taken by the District Magistrate, Nalanda, the same shall be taken expeditiously.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Nalanda to take a final decision by passing appropriate orders on the application filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license, within a period of four weeks from today.
