The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 625 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a and 26 of the Arms Act. The allegation is regarding recovery of two country made pistols and three cartridges from the sack which was recovered from the possession of the petitioner after the police had intercepted him and a search was made.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is submitted that though the petitioner is an accused in one other case, but he is on bail in the said case. The petitioner is stated to be languishing in custody since 2.9.2019.

No.85742 of 2019(2) dt.14-01-2020 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to direct for release of the petitioner on regular bail immediately upon completion of six months of custody i.e. with effect from 2.9.2019 and further subject to such conditions as may be deemed fit and proper to be imposed by the learned court of C.J.M., Banka in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 625 of 2019.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, the petition stands disposed of.
