The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Nawada Complaint Case No. 235 of 2012 registered under Section 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. There is general and omnibus allegation against him.

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that petitioner is the husband of the complainant. He further alleged

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1451 of 2020(6) dt.02-12-2021 2/2 that there is allegation of torture and demand of dowry against him. Hence, this is not a fit case of anticipatory bail. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer of the petitioner is rejected.
