This application for regular bail arises out of Patahi P.S. Case No. 11 of 2011, disclosing the offences under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the CLA Act.

The First Information Report was registered in 2011 against unknown. The petitioner's involvement surfaced in course of the investigation. The petitioner was apprehended in 2019, more than eight years after lodging of the First Information Report.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the fact that the petitioner has following criminal antecedents as

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.86722 of 2019(4) dt.19-03-2020 2/2 disclosed in paragraph-3 of the application, I am not inclined to grant him privilege of regular bail at this stage; (i) Patahi P.S. Case No. 123 of 2011 registered under Sections 121A, 125(a) (b), 26, 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of CLA Act.

(ii) Patahi P.S. Case No.82 of 2013 registered under Sections 302, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of CLA Act.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
