1. Heard learned counsel for the parties concerned.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is for non-payment of salary, which has been stopped since March, 2017.

3. Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the salary of the petitioner has not been paid without any valid reason.

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has raised the same grievance before the District Teachers Appellate Authority, Gaya, in Appeal No. 08 of 2018, dated 02.07.2018.

5. In view of the fact that the appeal is pending for the last five years, the District Teachers Appellate Authority, Gaya, is directed to dispose the appeal of the petitioner, on its own merit expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of the copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this application is disposed.
