The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with G.B. Nagar P.S. Case No. 400 of 2018 for the offence registered under Sections 30(A), 38 and 41(i) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act, 2018.
The allegation is regarding recovery of 226.800 litres of illicit liquor from a pick up van and the petitioner has been stated to be the driver of the said pick up van. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and he is having a clean antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 26.11.2019. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the

No.86171 of 2019(2) dt.14-01-2020 2/2 case, considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner coupled with the fact that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent, I deem it fit and proper to direct for release of the petitioner herein on regular bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions JudgeIInd-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Siwan in connection with G.B. Nagar P.S. Case No. 400 of 2018.
