The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Mahua P.S.Case No.51919 registered for offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act, 2018.

On information that the petitioners have kept liquor in their field , the police raided the field and there was recovery of huge quantity of liquor from the field.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that the field is situated in another village and there is no independent witness of the occurrence.

No.210 of 2020(2) dt.23-01-2020 2/2 Having heard both sides and in view of submissions as made above, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners, however, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned court below and make prayer for regular bail, which will be considered by the learned court below without being prejudiced by the order of this Court. With the aforesaid direction, this application is dismissed.
