Petitioner is in custody in connection with Saraiya P.S. Case No. 566 of 2019 for the offence under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that allegation against this petitioner is that he has snatched Rs. 18,765/-, two mobiles and motorcycle of the informant on the point of knife and katta.

Learned counsel further submits that till date neither the petitioner nor the recovered money have been put on TIP. The petitioner is in custody since 31.8.2019. Considering the fact that petitioner has remained in

No.85797 of 2019(4) dt.04-06-2020 2/2 custody since 31.8.2019, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1st, West Muzaffarpur, in connection with Saraiya P.S. Case No. 566 of 2019 subject to the condition that the petitioner on release has to render his service as volunteer to combat Covid-19 for a period of two months in Covid-19 hospital and he is required to report to the district Civil Surgeon/Nodal Officer who shall utilize the service of the petitioner appropriately.
