JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 14-01-2020 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 759 of 2019, registered for offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

Allegation is of recovery of 25 litres of liquor from the house of the petitioner.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has been in custody since 23.10.2019 and chargesheet has been submitted and there is no chance of his absconding and tampering with the evidence.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides, in view of the submissions as above, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000 (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1634 of 2020(2) dt.14-01-2020 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge -II, Banka, in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 759 of 2019, subject to the condition that petitioner will cooperate in disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court below, failing which, the prosecution shall move for cancellation of his bail bonds.
