Petitioner is in custody in connection with Jalalgarh (Sadar) P.S. Case No. 140 of 2019 (Spl. Case No. 32 of 2019) for the offence under sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act and sections 21(b), 27(b), (ii), 27(2), 28 of Drug and Cosmetic Act and Section 21(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

In the instant case approximately 21 liters of cough syrup was seized which is supposedly used as substitute of liquor.

The petitioner is in custody since 13.11.2019.
