The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Special Case No. 24 of 2011, arising out of Vigilance Case No. 51 of 2011, registered under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, 477(A), 120(B) and 409 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 13(2) and 13(D) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, pending in the court of Special Judge, Vigilance, North Bihar, Muzaffarpur.

Earlier, the prayer for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner was refused vide Criminal Miscellaneous No. 33295 of 2016 on 20.08.2016 taking note of this fact that petitioner misappropriated Rs. 1,37,000.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.87258 of 2019(2) dt.04-03-2020 2/2 submits that petitioner is ready to pay the said amount. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to reconsider the prayer of pre-arrest bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail stands rejected.
