The petitioners' counsel submits that having invested four valuable years of working in the Forensic Science Laboratory, Muzaffarpur, Bihar, the respondents have stopped taking work from them suddenly w.e.f. May, 2019. The counsel for the Respondent-State submits that the existence of the petitioners was on daily wages. The work being performed by them, requires technical qualification, and as such, the petitioners, who are daily wagers without possessing
Patna High Court CWJC No.2243 of 2020(2) dt.24-02-2020 2/2 the technical qualification, cannot claim any right for being continued on daily wages.
Having considered the rival submissions, this Court is in agreement with the submissions advanced by the State counsel. The authorities, however, would be at liberty to consider the petitioners for future engagement as and when required.
The writ application stands disposed off.
