The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that one litre of country made liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner.

In the circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. However, considering the nature of recovery and statement being made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner is not having any criminal antecedent, it is a case for consideration of prayer for regular bail by the learned Court below, if the petitioner surrenders

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.86571 of 2019(2) dt.20-02-2020 2/2 before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Parasi P.S. Case No. 63 of 2019 (Excise Case No. 1235 of 2019), pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Jehanabad.
