1. In compliance to the earlier order of this Court dated 20.12.2024, a supplementary show cause has been filed on behalf of the opposite parties, wherein a fresh order dated 14.01.2025, has been passed by the Director-in-Chief, Health Services, Bihar, Patna, wherein it has been accepted that the promotion of the petitioner to the post of Sanitary Inspector has been approved and since 1998 he has been working on the post of Sanitary Inspector regularly till the date of superannuation, hence he is entitled to payment of wages in the pay scale

Patna High Court MJC No.5374 of 2019(6) dt.24-01-2025 2/2 prescribed for the post of Sanitary Inspector, however, it has been stated that the same would not be a precedent in future and accordingly the Civil Surgeon, Muzaffarpur has been directed to make payment of the differential amount of salary as also the differential amount of retiral dues.

2. This Court is satisfied that the order dated 13.07.2018, passed by this Court in CWJC No.20876 of 2010 has stood complied with, however, the Civil Surgeon, Muzaffarpur is directed to make payment of the differential amount of salary and retiral dues within a period of four weeks from today.
