JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 13-02-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 161 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 342, 353, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner and their associates blocked road and put pressure upon the police to arrest the accused of Raniganj P.S. Case No. 154 of 2016.

Taking note of the aforesaid fact as well as this aspect of the matter that no specific overt-act has been attributed against the petitioner and petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent, this anticipatory bail petition is allowed and it is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.86541 of 2019(2) dt.13-02-2020 2/2 ordered that petitioner, in the event of his arrest/ surrender within six weeks from the date of receipt of this order to the court concerned, shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Araria in Raniganj P.S. Case No. 161 of 2016, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
