2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with S.T. No.397 of 2024 arising out of Bhaptiahi P.S. Case No. 144 of 2022, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 302 and 34 of I.P.C.

3. In the trial, the informant has said that the deceased was assaulted by Sadanand Mandal@ Sudhir Mandal, the father of the petitioner and the petitioner is in jail since 20.03.2024.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant vehemently oppose the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned District Sessions Judge-I, Supaul /concerned Court below in connection with Bhaptiahi P.S. Case No. 144 of 2022.

6. It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present bail application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the trial and this Court has not express any opinion on the merits of the case.
