The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Motipur P.S. Case No. 558 of 2018, registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 168 bottles, each containing 375 ml, 72 bottles, each containing, 180 ml, 144 bottles, each containing, 750 ml and 12 bottles, each containing 750 ml, of different brand Indian made foreign liquor from the house of the petitioner.

Submission is that the seized liquor of bottles are said to be recovered from straw house of the petitioner, which is

After lodging the present case, the petitioner has been implicated in two other cases, as detailed in paragraph 3. The petitioner is in custody since 29.09.2019. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Motipur P.S. Case No. 558 of 2018 to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise, Muzaffarpur.
