Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 341, 323, 307, 302, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the FIR named accused including the petitioner is to have killed the brother of the informant by assaulting him by lathi, danda and iron rod. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner of any overt act. Allegations are general and omnibus in nature. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 17.08.2019.

No.86300 of 2019(4) dt.28-05-2020 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of allegation and multiple injuries found on the person of deceased, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

However, after framing of charges, petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
