Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1486/17 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the D.P. Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mediation has become successful and both the parties have entered into a compromise and the agreed amount has already been paid to the opposite party No. 2. It is further submitted that

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Complaint Case No. 1486 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the D.P. Act is hereby quashed.
