2. The petitioner has moved the Court for the following relief:

"That this writ application is being for a direction by issuing appropriate writ, to the Collector, Rohtas (Respondent No. 1) to decide and disposed of the Rent Fixation Appeal No. 02 of 2018 (Krishna Kumar Singh -Versus- The Deputy Collector, Land Reform, Bikramganj and another) filed on 04.06.2018 by petitioner which is still pending before him and/or pass any other order/orders for which the petitioner is entitled to."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that an illegal order was passed by the Deputy Collector, Land Reforms, Bikramganj against which he preferred Rent Fixation Appeal No. 2 of 2018 on 04.06.2018, before the respondent no. 1, which is still pending. It was submitted that the same be directed to be disposed off. It was submitted that the next date fixed is 7th February, 2020.

4. Learned counsel for the State submitted that the Court may direct for the disposal of the appeal.

5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the respondent no. 1 to decide Rent Fixation Appeal No. 2 of 2018, pending before him expeditiously and latest within a period of two months from the date of production of a copy of this order before him.
