2. In the present CWJC the petitioner is seeking correction of the date of birth from 23.05.2009 to 23.12.2008. This Court is of the opinion that this Court adjudicating under Section 226 of the Constitution of India cannot direct the respondent authorities to correct and make the correction in date of birth. The appropriate remedy available to the petitioner is to
Patna High Court CWJC No.511 of 2026(4) dt.14-07-2026 2/2 approach the competent Civil Court for seeking correction of his date of birth.
